Kirkwhelpington and Beyond – B4NTR Project October 2025 Update.

We’re excited to share the latest progress from the B4NTR project! B4RN teams are currently hard at work in the Kirkwhelpington area, connecting the final homes in this section of the build. Already, well over 100 properties are online, with many more eligible to benefit as their current broadband deals come to an end. It’s particularly rewarding to see B4RN fibre boxes appearing on homes far from the villages, bringing high-speed, reliable connectivity to households that previously had little or no broadband…

First Connections GO LIVE in Kirkwhelpington build!

The First Connections have gone live in Great Bavington, part of the Kirkwhelpington Project and is the first project B4RN are teaming up with Nokia to provide hyper-fast, reliable connectivity! There is a central fibre internet cabinet in Kirkwhelpton village which is the heart of this part of the project and where from all of the house fibre connections fan out. This needs its own internet connection from a similar B4RN Cabinet in Barrasford (about a 30 Km fibre cable run away…
